Gosh guys, I’m so lazy with swatches But Shayna reminded me about it the other day, so I’ve finally swatched my She Space Pigments. They are super pretty, and I can’t really think of any negatives about them except for the fact that they may be too shimmery.
They do, however She Space Pigments have a custom bar, you can use to create your own custom colors and shades. I’m not usually a fan of loose or mineral eye shadows because they are either messy to work with, or they’re rarely pigmented. She Space Pigments are very pigmented, and show up very well even without a base. I haven’t even tried foiling them or applying them over a base, so I’m kind of excited to try it out sometime.
If you haven’t tried them She Space Pigments out yet, I strongly suggest that you do. Samples are only $0.50, and full jars is $4, which is less than 1/3 of the price of a MAC eye shadow!
Out of the ones I got, my favorites are:
Apricot with flashes of green/gold. I actually like layering this dry over a gold color to make it more pigmented, but also create a duochrome look.
I love duochrome colors (in case nobody can tell!), and this is a really pretty antique green with a turquoise sheen.
Root of evil
Smokey dark blue (TSS says it’s darkened purple, but it looks more blue to me) that looks almost grey/black, but different enough to tell the difference. It also has different colored microglitter particles, which is really fun for a dramatic look.
Far Too Fabulous
Probably one of my most favorites. It’s a gorgeous “vivid blue metal”, and even though I don’t know when I would wear blue, it’s a super pretty color. It would work great as a liner, even.
Lack of Sanity
Another super bright apple/lime green, but such a fun color to play with.
I’m planning my next order, which is just as difficult as my first. There are so many different colors to try, and so little space on my arms to swatch it all!
